The inspiration for this book was born out of necessity: I wanted to own this book. I was minding my own beeswax designing a granny square vest when I found myself needing a new shape, a non-square shape, to create the perfect fit. I began looking for a reference book outlining all the different shapes you can make using the granny square stitch. The books concept seemed so obvious to me, I was sure it had to exist.
